LATEST UPDATE FROM THE AD-HOC COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT IN PARIS
The ad hoc division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has granted an extension to Sole Arbitrator Hon. Dr. Annabelle Bennett in the Vinesh Phogat vs. United World Wrestling & International Olympic Committee matter. The new deadline for the decision is August 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. local time (9:30 p.m. IST).
Note: The previous deadline of August 11 was for submitting additional documents from all parties, not the final decision.
The CAS decision in the Vinesh Phogat case is now expected by August 13, 2024, at 9:30 p.m. (IST)
